About Us
Impact Investing with NT Impact Capital
At NTCIC, impact investing means channeling private capital into projects that deliver measurable community benefits, such as revitalizing historic places, advancing renewable energy, and driving inclusive economic growth, while creating reliable returns for our investment partners.
With nearly $3 billion raised in tax credit equity, leveraged additional capital of approximately $10 billion, and $1.5 billion in assets currently under management, and an experienced team with deep relationships among institutional investors and mission-driven project sponsors, NT Impact Capital builds on a strong foundation.
Its future lies in scaling mission-aligned private credit strategies that deliver measurable community benefits and attractive, risk-adjusted returns for investors.
Launching a New Platform
NT Impact Capital extends NTCIC’s mission beyond tax credits by servicing third-party financing and designing and managing thematic private-credit impact funds that deliver flexible, affordable capital solutions. We provide disciplined underwriting, servicing, impact measurement and management services to reduce transaction costs and increase certainty of execution through private credit strategies that align transformational outcomes with investor returns.
The result:
More revitalized historic places, scalable renewable and sustainable infrastructure, and measurable benefits in underserved communities while applying rigorous impact measurement, monitoring, and risk management practices to ensure every investment contributes to these long-term goals.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Why it Matters
NT Impact Capital was launched in 2025, as a natural extension of NTCIC’s 25-year track record in mission-driven finance and nearly $3 billion raised in tax credit equity, to meet this moment and demonstrate a commitment to the future of impact investing.
The impact investment market has grown to more than $1.5 trillion in assets under management, with private credit emerging as a leading vehicle for channeling mission-aligned capital. As banks have reduced community lending, private credit fund managers have stepped in to bridge the gap.
I’ve spent the last ten years raising, structuring, and managing capital to drive meaningful outcomes in underserved communities. I’ve led initiatives that bridged financial performance with social impact, developed underwriting frameworks for mission-driven investments, and collaborated across sectors to bring complex deals to fruition.
Impact Investing At Work
Ellicott Mill | Ellicott City, Maryland
Former school becomes affordable homes and a community anchor
NT Impact Capital quickly established itself with its first investment: a $7 million historic tax credit equity bridge loan supporting the $85 million redevelopment of an eight-story flour mill in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Alongside this financing, NTCIC also contributed equity investments of $10 million and $3 million in federal and state HTC fundings generated by the project, respectively, underscoring an integrated approach to impact investing.
