How Can We Help?

Welcome to the National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC) 2026 Main Street Community Survey. Like Main Street America, NTCIC is a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. We support the country’s architectural heritage, community development, and renewable energy initiatives through high-impact tax credit investments.

This survey is intended to help NTCIC gather data about the commercial needs of communities around the United States, especially in historically underinvested communities. The data will only be used by NTCIC to help inform our investment strategies and decisions. NTCIC recognizes that most communities are in need of affordable housing, but the following questions are intended to look beyond the basic need for affordable housing.
