A First-Hand Look at Project Impacts As part of our fall board meeting, NTCIC’s board of directors recently visited several NTCIC projects, gaining a first-hand look at the full life cycle of the impact of these Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investments.

November 4, 2019 –  NTCIC is pleased to announce the successful closing on historic financing for the POST Houston revitalization in downtown Houston, Texas. NTCIC syndicated the federal Historic Tax Credits (HTCs) earned by the project which generated over $23.7 million in equity.

NTCIC Designates New Board Emeriti At NTCIC’s October Board of Directors meeting, NTCIC designated Emeriti in recognition of their dedicated years of service to NTCIC’s board.

October 22, 2019 — NTCIC wishes to congratulate board member Larry Curtis on his recent receipt of the President’s Award for Excellence during the 31st annual Preservation Achievement Awards hosted by the Boston Preservation Alliance.

On Wednesday, October 16, Senator Cassidy (R-LA), Senator Cardin (D-MD), Senator Collins (R-ME) and Senator Cantwell (D-WA) introduced the Senate version of the Historic Tax Credit Growth and Opportunity Act (HTC-GO), S. 2615.

With the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) application season in full swing, Novogradac will be hosting its annual NMTC conference in Austin, Texas from October 17 – 18.

On October 2nd, The National Park Service released its anticipated Report on the Economic Impact of the Federal Historic Tax Credit (HTC) for FY 2018.

The tax credit conference season officially kicks off in the coming weeks with Novogradac’s annual Historic Tax Credit (HTC) conference in St. Louis, MO from September 26 – 27. NTCIC will be a sponsor for the event with many team members in attendance.

NTCIC is happy to announce the successful financing of the historic Shenandoah building in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Once complete, the building will be transformed into a vibrant mixed-use space in the heart of the historic Martinsburg Main Street district.

NTCIC is thrilled to announce two previous investments have been named recipients of the 2019 Historic Rehabilitation Awards by the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits.
