SAN FRANCISCO—National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded a Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits 2020 QLICIs of the Year Award for its investment in 683 Northland in Buffalo, N.Y., using new markets tax credits (NMTC).

July 15, 2020 The National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC) is pleased to announce that we have been awarded $50 million in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) allocation authority by the CDFI Fund of the U.S. Treasury Department.

A First-Hand Look at Project Impacts As part of our fall board meeting, NTCIC’s board of directors recently visited several NTCIC projects, gaining a first-hand look at the full life cycle of the impact of these Historic Tax Credit (HTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investments.

NTCIC is happy to announce the successful financing of the historic Shenandoah building in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Once complete, the building will be transformed into a vibrant mixed-use space in the heart of the historic Martinsburg Main Street district.

June 18th, 2019, the Ways and Means Subcommittee released a draft of the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2019, a bill that will extend several expired and expiring tax provisions, including disaster relief, energy efficiency, and the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC).
