NTCIC will attend the upcoming Novogradac Historic Tax Credit Conference from October 6th – 8th to connect with industry colleagues, and discuss the Historic Tax Credit provisions presently included within the emerging infrastructure legislation. The annual Novogradac Historic Tax Credit Conference returns to an in-person format so industry colleagues can reconnect, strengthen their professional network, and discuss ways to rehabilitate places that matter with hundreds of attendees from the historic tax credit (HTC) world. During the event, NTCIC President Merrill Hoopengardner and Vice President and Managing Director of Acquisitions & Project Management Kandi Jackson will participate in several panels:
Thursday, October 7: Washington Report 9:30 – 10:30 am
- Merrill Hoopengardner will join advocacy leaders to discuss the latest on what’s happening in Washington, D.C., concerning infrastructure and other legislation that could include provisions related to the federal HTC. Hear what the current and future balance of Congress could mean to historic preservation.
Thursday, October 7: Stakeholder Roundtables 4:00 – 5:00 pm
- Kandi Jackson, along with other developers and investors, will share insights into their roles and views of the HTC incentive in an interactive session where attendees can ask questions and share experiences.
Be sure to have these panels on your calendars and to keep an eye out for NTCIC as you make your way through the event!
