NTCIC Heading to Washington, DC for the Novogradac Spring NMTC Conference

On June 6th, NTCIC will be convening in Washington, DC, to attend the Novogradac 2024 Spring NMTC Conference to connect with partners and colleagues in the nation’s capital for Novogradac’s two-day conference. We look forward to learning more about upcoming NMTC-eligible developments that include a federal Historic Tax Credit component to support with our current and future allocation. We also look forward to sharing news about several of our recent successful equity investments.

David Clower

President & CEO

As President and CEO of NTCIC, David directs fundraising and acquisition opportunities, develops and implements the company’s overall strategy and new lines of business, and coordinates governing board/staff relations. Mr. Clower joined NTCIC in 2024 with 30 years of commercial and investment banking and community development finance experience across commercial real estate, venture debt, private equity, and impact investment platforms. | Connect

Kandi Jackson

Managing Director, Acquisitions & Project Management

As Managing Director, Kandi oversees the Acquisitions and Project Management Team of NTCIC with a focus on HTC and NMTC investments, which is primarily responsible for finding, underwriting, closing, and initiating the first equity and loan disbursements to a project. Additionally, she originates and manages NTCIC’s upper-tier investor relationships. | Connect

Kathleen Galvan

Acquisitions Manager

Kathleen has been with NTCIC for 11 years, originally joining the team as an Asset Manager. As an Acquisitions Manager, Kathleen is responsible for identifying, structuring, and underwriting prospective federal and state Historic and New Markets Tax Credit investments. To date, she has successfully facilitated and managed tax credit investments representing over $1.5 billion in total development costs. | Connect

Mercedes Stevenson

Director of Asset Management

As the Director of Asset Management, Mercedes leads our team in overseeing over 100 investments currently under management. Mercedes joins with decades of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, community development, and risk management. She received her Bachelor’s in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University and an MBA from the University of Virginia. | Connect

Andrae Baly

Senior Asset Manager

As Senior Asset Manager, Andrae is responsible for asset management, including construction monitoring as well as post-closing lower tier compliance, and investor reporting for NMTC, Solar ITC, and HTC investments. Andrae joined NTCIC in 2007 and has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Houghton College (NY). | Connect

Laura Burns

Community Impact Compliance Manager

As the Community Impact Compliance Manager, Laura performs and oversees NMTC program and compliance duties including data collection and analytics for NTCIC’s portfolio of projects, including economic impact and Community Reinvestment Act (“CRA”) information. Additionally, Laura is responsible for annual community impact reporting and is an integral part of NTCIC's NMTC application writing process. | Connect

Marcus Jones

Project Manager

As a Project Manager, Marcus is responsible for real estate due diligence, underwriting prospective tax credit investments, and closing transactions. Prior to joining NTCIC in 2021, he worked in real estate and fund administration business development at SS&C and New Markets Community Capital at TELACU. Marcus earned his master’s in accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA in finance and real estate from the University of CT. | Connect

Megan Fee

Controller

As Controller, Megan oversees all accounting functions for NTCIC, and its subsidiaries, including payroll, timekeeping, budget creation, analysis and tracking, and financial reporting. Before joining NTCIC, Megan was the Controller at The McLean Group, LLC, a boutique investment bank specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions in the Government Contracting sector. Megan earned her bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University. | Connect
