NTCIC is delighted to announce a 2017 intern position in partnership with its parent company, the NationaPreview (opens in a new window)l Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP). For this internship, NTHP is offering a stipend of $1,500 to help offset expenses. Ideal dates for this internship are July 5 – July 28, 2017, but are flexible.
DUTIES
This National Trust intern will work closely with NTCIC to become familiar with federal historic tax credit, new markets tax credit, and solar tax credit syndication, and will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to projects that support the mission of preservation and community investment and development.
EDUCATIONAL VALUE TO THE INTERN
The intern will gain experience under the mentorship of respected tax credit syndication professionals in an educational setting at one of the nation’s leading non-profit advocacy organizations and community development entities. The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in educational programming offered via the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Washington, D.C. Office internship program. Students may also be eligible for college or graduate school academic credit at the discretion of their institution.
